Control of Land - Environmental Quality Incentives Program

One of the requirements of the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) is that program participants have control of land enrolled in EQIP for the duration of the contract. Operators who manage land that they do not own may wish to substantiate the intentions of the parties to the EQIP contract with this optional document. Owners and operators who cash rent or lease land may find this form helpful to demonstrate control of the land for purposes of applying to EQIP.

To the best of my knowledge, if circumstances continue as they have been into the foreseeable future, I/we plan to continue rent or lease the identified land to the identified operator(s) for the length of the submitted EQIP contract period.
